The Olympics 2020 has been postponed until 2021—as we know for now. But this doesn’t mean all public sports activities are coming to a halt. Thanks to the joint effort between Castr’s livestreaming solution and the sports mask technology from Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), an international pole vault championship is right around the (virtual) corner.
On August 17, FHH will leverage Castr’s livestreaming and multistreaming platform to broadcast the championship, “Who is the FINEst Pole Vaulter in the world?”. This event is organized by Fine Hygienic Holding—one of the world’s leading wellness enterprises and manufacturers of hygienic paper products and solutions.
With more than one million online spectators expected to tune into the livestream, Castr will provide our multistream service to broadcast the game on the organizer’s website, Facebook and YouTube at the same time. The pole vault competition (read: “a true preview for Tokyo 2021”) will welcome professional participants from all over the world—many of whom are international and Olympic-level athletes. They will be vaulting from their countries and the footage will be streamed live through Castr. These include Matt Ludwig (an Ohio-based 2020 US Indoor Champion in pole vault), Ernest Obiena (a Filipino, Olympics-trained pole vaulter who has broken international records), and Paweł Wojciechowski (2011 World Champion in athletics).
